Leo Quilt (Free PDF)
The Leo Quilt has a simple square motif called Single Irish Chain. It includes two blocks : the first one is a plain square cut in the main fabric and the second one is a nine square checked pattern cut in two contrasting fabrics. The edges are finished with 1 cm (0,4 in) bias tape.
The finished quilt measure 99,5 cm (39,2 in) by 138,5 cm (54,5 in).
Required Materials :
midweight, non-stretch fabric : 135 cm (53,1 in) for the main fabric, 75 cm (29,5 in) for the contrasting fabric and 150 cm (59 in) for the backing of the quilt.
crib size cotton or wool batting
5m (196 in) of double folded bias tape of 1 cm (0,4 in) width when folded.
